Malaria Risk Assessment

Evaluate your malaria risk factors

No Tests Required

This assessment evaluates your malaria risk based on symptoms, travel history, and exposure. You don't need any prior medical tests to complete this assessment.

Common malaria symptoms:

  • Fever (often cyclical - every 48-72 hours)
  • Chills and shivering
  • Sweating
  • Headache
  • Muscle aches
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Anemia (pale skin, weakness)

Note: Symptoms typically appear 10-15 days after being bitten by an infected mosquito, but can appear up to a year later.

Have you traveled to areas where malaria is common (parts of Africa, Asia, Central/South America) in the past year?

Are you using preventive measures (insect repellent, bed nets, antimalarial medication if in endemic area)?

⚠️ Important: Malaria can be life-threatening if not treated promptly. If you have symptoms and have been in an endemic area, seek immediate medical attention.
