Have you been exposed to Hepatitis B through contact with infected blood, unprotected sex, sharing needles, or from an infected mother at birth?

Common Hepatitis B symptoms:

  • Fatigue
  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)
  • Dark urine
  • Abdominal pain
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Joint pain
  • Fever

Note: Many people with Hepatitis B have no symptoms, especially in chronic cases.

Risk factors include:

  • Unprotected sex with multiple partners
  • Sharing needles or injection equipment
  • Healthcare work with exposure to blood
  • Living with someone who has Hepatitis B
  • Travel to areas with high Hepatitis B rates
